Regular Schedule of Services

The principal work of the Church is worship, and the Cathedral of Saint Andrew is justly renowned for its preaching, liturgy and music.

SUNDAYS

The Cathedral Church of Saint Andrew offers three opportunities for worship every Sunday at the following times:

7 am - Holy Eucharist (Quiet and Reflective)
Holy Eucharist with a short sermon and no music.

8 amKa Eukalikia Hemolele (Hawaiian Eucharist)

The Hawaiian Eucharist is a sung service incorporating Hawaiian language prayers, hymns and scripture and a sermon in English. The Cathedral’s Hawaiian Choir supports the congregation in the singing of hymns and service music as well as offering an anthem in Hawaiian.

An Aloha hour of fellowship follows this service on the lanai on the Diamond Head side of the Cathedral.

10 am - Sung Eucharist with the Cathedral Choir

The Choral Eucharist at the Cathedral is the second sung service each Sunday. The Cathedral Choir offers leadership to the congregation in the singing of hymns and service music as well as offering two anthems from ages past to present day compositions.

An Aloha hour of fellowship follows this service on the lanai on the Diamond Head side of the Cathedral.

5:30 pm - Choral Evensong.  This traditional Anglican evening prayer service is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, September through May. There is no sermon or Eucharist at Evensong.  Please follow the link to Upcoming Events on the Music Ministry page for this and other musical offerings throughout the year.

WEDNESDAYS

11:45 am -- Holy Eucharist

The Holy Eucharist is celebrated in Parke Chapel.  The Wednesday Eucharist is followed by Noontime Concerts, featuring the Cathedral's own musicians and guests, at 12.15 pm in the Cathedral.

5:30 pm --  Taize Evensong

Taize is a beautiful, deeply relaxing and meditative form of prayer originally developed by a monastic community in Taize, France. The greater community is warmly invited to experience Taize’s chant, music, and prayer.

SATURDAYS
