Music Ministry

The Hawaiian Choir sings at the 8 am Holy Eucharist every Sunday.  They support the congregation in the singing of Hawaiian hymns and service music as well as offering an anthem in Hawaiian.  The choir rehearses Sunday mornings at 7 am in Davies Hall on the Ewa side of the Close.

The Cathedral Choir supports the Rite II Choral Eucharist at 10 am on Sundays.  They offer leadership to the congregation in the singing of hymns and service music as well as singing an Offertory anthem and Communion motet.  This group rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:30 pm in Davies Hall.

Additionally, Evensong is presented the first Sunday of each month (September-May) at 5:30 pm.  Note the time change from 7:30 pm, effective 2 December 2007.

The choirs combine to sing for Thanksgiving, the Feast Day Celebration of King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma in November, Christmas Day, Feast of the Holy Name on New Year's Day, Pentecost and other major feast days.
