Parish Weekend at Mokuleia
February 29 – March 2, 2008

The Parish Weekend is a time to enjoy the world God has created, to live together in community, and to explore together new ways to enrich our life in Christ. The weekend will be filled with friendly fun and unique moments of spiritual growth. All activities are optional and time for relaxation and re-creation is a priority.

This year, we will have an opportunity to be stewards of this wonderful place. On Saturday morning we will have a work party of willing helpers to paint the camp fence. This is a simple job that will help upgrade the camp. Folks of all ages are encouraged to pick up a paint brush and take a page out of Tom Sawyer. If you can bring paint tools such as brushes and trays, so much the better!

Camp Mokuleia has a very comfortable lodge available with double occupancy rooms and private or semiprivate baths. Bedding and towels are included. Camp Mokuleia also has a beautiful campground for tenters, who are responsible for providing tents, bedding, and gear.
Meals are prepared for us, though campers may opt to do their own cooking. Everyone should bring comfortable clothing, beach gear, sunscreen, bug repellent, drinks, and snacks. Please fill out the registration form and return to the of the Cathedral Office.  Call 524-2822 or email jennywallace@hawaii.rr.com for more information.
